Energy satellites are multi-use tools.


The first plans of energy satellites are from the 1970s. Energy satellites are single-satellite systems or they could be satellite swarms. The idea of satellite swarms is that they collect their energy transmitters at one point. And that allows to make of high-power wireless energy transmission using a large group of small satellites. If the system consists of multiple small satellites. That thing makes it more reliable than systems that use one larger satellite. If one member of the energy satellite group will damage, that thing has a smaller effect than if one large satellite would damage. 

The Caltech prototype is the pathfinder for energy satellites. The energy satellites are the systems that harvest solar power and then send it to Earth wirelessly. Those energy beams can use laser, radio, or microwave frequencies. Theoretically, that needed system is simple. The satellites or satellite swarms send energy from the geostationary orbiter to the land-, or sea-based antenna. The antenna can be a group of receivers that float on the sea.

The energy satellite that uses maser or laser technology can send extremely thin energy beams to receivers like ships or aircraft. In those models, the customer sends a laser message that helps the energy satellite aim its system to the right point. And then it can start the energy transmission. Those systems can be useful in the next-generation electric jet engines that provide aircraft even hypersonic speed. 





The energy satellites provide the possibility to dominate space. Even if Space weapons are prohibited the high-power energy beams can have multiple purposes. So the same system can have civil and military roles. Civil roles are observation of natural resources, acting as a communication station and energy supply, but the same system can use as a weapon. 

That means the satellite can deliver energy also straight to its users. Energy satellites also can provide extremely good communication abilities. The high-power energy beams also can carry data for the internet. The radio-wave-based energy transporter also can use as radar.

That means those satellites are multi-use tools. One of the things is that the energy satellites also can provide the capacity to shoot down ballistic missiles and aircraft. If somebody shoots ABM (Anti-satellite Missile) against those satellites they can aim their energy beam to that missile. The energy beam destroys incoming missiles immediately. 

The energy satellite can also offer the possibility to control and dominate Earth orbiters. The energy satellite can use its beam as a weapon, that sweeps all non-wanted satellites away from the orbiter. The same system can give powerful EMP signals in some areas. But the fact is that energy satellites could burn entire cities or extremely accurate targets. The maser systems can destroy ICBM missiles in their silos. 

Those power satellites can also use as radar platforms that use optical systems. Along with LiDAR and radar systems to surveillance areas below them. Those systems can mount to those large-size satellites. And there is needed four satellites cover the entire Earth. 

And that extremely powerful system can also damage communication and other electronics even if it uses radio frequencies. There is the possibility that the system has multi-frequency transmitters. So they could use coherent light or lasers. And they also can use non-visible electromagnetic radiation.
